7:44 pm	Ehhh This was Jamie's idea. So blame him if you get eternally bored with my useless ramblings which will be placed on display right now. Let's see...I went shopping today and brought a few paintings to put up in my room. Well you wouldn't really call them paintings, more...abstract...drawings. They're up now and I'm pretty happy with my choices. I also bribed Matt's friend to give me that huge poster of Matrix reloaded he had spare. See, the perks of working at a CD store is that you get all the display posters after they're finished with them. Yay me! Speaking of which, I've been thinking (I rarely do so it was a revelation of sorts) that the art styles have really evolved throughout the years. We've come from the very first forms such as hieroglyhs or cave drawings to the ideas of Author Boyd, Andy Warhol etc and yet, the very essence of art; the reason behind why each artist does what he/she does has not changed. Art throughout the ages has been used as a form of communication, a transport, if you will, into the complex minds of creative individuals. It's a known fact that creative people think, act and on occasion experience society in a different manner. Many, such as Einstein could not bear to live through the restrictive constraints of 'proper civil behaviour' and therefore creative minds have been regarded as failures in following culturally accepted rules. And yet, because of this, creative minds have produced the work that sets humans apart from the rest of the animal kingdom. It is our ability to think of future implications and create new things that shoves mankind forward so...in a way, creative individuals are the driving force towards premature evolution. .... I've completely gone off topic again. The point of all that was to say that my taste in art is very different to my mother's. Mum likes flowers, oil paintings of nature...I like circles and squares etc. It's very different. Oh! Which reminds me, I was at the art gallery the other day, and saw this amazing artist who devoted his whole life to the study of circles, he just did paintings and paintings of circles. 2:02 pm	Been busy with College work as of late, got a lot of website designs to do and its got to be done for next week. Apart from that I've been helping my bro decided what stuff he wants for his new PC. Also I've seen Anita a bit more these last few days which is always great! ^^ Nothing much else to report, ohh yeah I ordered Final Fantasy XI last week from the states since the Uk dosent even have a release date as of yet, and I should recieve it later today/tomorrow. It's the same kinda game as DAoC (Dark Age of Camelot) - MMORPG, so it's online only but it will be great fun. :) but at £7 a month on server charges I'm gonna make the most of it :) Anyone else who wants to join in I'll see you in the game ;) - Jamie Current Mood: excited [ 3 stars | shine like a star ]

10:37 pm	And another thing.. Sorry folks, wanted to post something else. I havent said much on here receltly as im on holiday with an old laptop and using a 9,600BPS internet connection via my cellphone. Also when I was still at home I was so bogged down with college work so my social life (if you can call this a social life) suffered. Anyways just wanted to say Hi to all my good friends out there who I think about - even tho i havent spoke to you for a while. Hi to: K & Ix! - hope things are going good with you two! J & Dx! - good good! I really wish I could chat to you two more often. Signe - How you doing dear? I havent seen you on yahoo since i went on holidays. And ditto goes for Lex, but i hope she is ok. And Val, i didnt see you even when i was at home anyways! hope you doing good. I didnt forget Kim, who i dont speak to much, but i would if i could! 8:43 am	On holiday Hi peeps, I’m here again to post , I’m currently on holiday travelling down to London. This train was to leave at 7:55 at Aberdeen station, and I’m typing this as the train is hurtling south at about 90MPH – Due to get in London at about 14:54 if I remember correctly. Since I’ve got like almost Seven hours to go I might as well blab on for a bit about the train: This is basically an “InterCity 125” which is also called High Speed Train or “HST” for short; which is capable of 125MPH, it has eight coaches and two class 43 power-cars at each end. I’m sure some of you have heard that before, and is still currently the fastest diesel passenger train on this planet today. As I was boarding I noted that the rear power-car is called “Perth” I’ve still to see what the front power-car is named. And as I’ve just typed that we’ve reached the second station on the route – Montrose. I’m using my friend’s laptop to type this and therefore I am at the mercy of my cell phone’s internet speed which is 9,600BPS and it’s coverage. Ill probably get round to updating throughout the day depending on how long these batteries last! ;) A huge hello to all my friends!  Current Mood: excited [ 1 star | shine like a star ]

Woah, hmm it's been ages since I last updated this thing! ^^ Not much to report on really, I've been absent recently beacuse of heavy college work, but I've got holidays coming up soon so I'll get a break then. ^_^ Ohh, on Thursday I bought WWE Raw 2 for the xbox, very good game. heh will have to see if it's as much fun as the new Smackdown game thats released on the PS2 next month. Heh I'll be 24 in just over a week, heh, another year older ^_~ Well my head is blank right now, (as usual) so I'll maybe post something when I can think of something! 6:00 pm	hmm *Growls* guess who is being lazy again? That's right Jamie North; it’s been a whole week since your last post and frankly...that's not very good. So I'm filling in for you- just a little. ^____________^ Anyway Jamie is off at college right now, doing his...thing and no one else is online so I'm afraid I'll have to rant in here. Except I really have nothing I want to say except for- no my mind is actually blank. I've decided to go to Big Day Out with Ruth, Jess and Matt. That’s if Jess is actually going to go this year. So far the line up looks like: Metallica (*dances* YES) The Strokes (whoaa...even better) The Dandy Warhols (I really bohemian like you ^^) The Mars Volta (OH god. 10:58 am	I'm a movie critic? I managed to watch some stuff I recently downloaded lastnight. Firstly I watched Sinbad, which was a not bad film, but I found it too short. But was good anyways. Then I watched Spirited Away, As usual for a Disney film the animation is perfect, The story was hard to get round at first but I guess I understood it all as it made sense at the end ;) I hope they make a sequal to it. very good. (this was a 5.1 dvd rip so it sounded great :) ) Then onto the next film of the night, The Rundown staring Sean William Scott and The Rock. Not bad film, but I think the Rock's other film like the Scorpion King was better. Also Sean was better in his American Pie movies. Thats that. I've just bought the DVD series to Spooks season one. and the new Auf Wiedersehen, Pet series which Spooks (same kinda thing as Bugs was a few years back) is like a technology drama, and (the new) Auf Wiedersehen, Pet is like a comedy drama. 12:31 am	The latest version Well had some more time with Soul Calibur II, and the more I play with it the more I get dissapointed with it, a lot of the chatacter's are now completley unbalanced, totally spoiling it. I think I'm going back to Dead Or Alive 3. Other than that, I've been trying to spend more time with finyda latley as I've been away doing this and then away again doing that so I've really been killing our time together which hurts me really as my time with her is limited already to mornings and very late nights. Well It's 0:30 Monday morning, thankfully I'm only in college Tuesday - Thursday :). Hmm weird, as I type this YIM/AIM have both died. *sighs* ohh well. 12:50 am	The day of all days Well as Anita said, I'm lazy when it comes to updating my journal. So here is my effort for tonight. College wasent too bad today, the class is so short - it's like open your bag take your stuff out, and... ooops! it's time to go already. so I didnt get any work done there. Then had a three hour break which is nice, then back for my last class which was only an hour long. so yaaay got out pretty early. Tonight I've been downloading Sinbad and Spirited Away. They look damn good, can't wait till I have the 2nd parts to both of them. Also I just watched Timecop2, never seen the first one so it was new to me, it was good. :) Well now I guess I'll be off to the land of nod soon. But first a list of what should be happening tomorrow. Soul Calibur II gets it's UK-wide release tomorrow, I have reserved my copy for the xbox ofcourse. Even tho I have a PS2, that nor the gamecube will have as sharp graphics as the xbox due to the console's decent hardware copared to the other two consoles. Also only the xbox's version of the game currently has Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, PS2 is only pro-logic II - so it's easy to see which one to go for. And again the xbox version is in 16:9 widescreen, PS2's widescreen is not properwidescreen as it stretches the background. Lastly the xbox controllers are almost identical to the dreamcast's which the original Soul Calibur was on. :) so it should be easier for me. Now all this ranting and im completley shite at the game. 10:50 pm	Lazy ass Since Jamie hasn't updated this thing for a couple of days, I thought that I might as well do the honors. ^^ Well one more day until my much anticipated break. Which means that I get to spend my time to myself, and less time doing...whatever I end up doing for my 'training into the future'. Hmm...uhh....hm...ok that's it. LOL this is really short but it's too damn hot to think right now. 24 degrees at 10:45pm is not what you would call an ideal temperature for sleeping. uhh...bye? 7:20 am	*sighs* Hey, Since he hijacked my LJ; it's only right if I do the same to him after all I'm just returning the favor. ^^ Let’s see, I have to leave for my graphics design workshop in about an hour or so which will serve to be interesting. Both the process of getting there and the actual day that is. Originally dad had promised to drive me there via car but he bailed out on me last minute due to his busy schedule and since I'm practically hopeless at driving myself (no sense of direction whatsoever) I decided I should take the train and then opt for a bus instead of walking. I'm also meeting a friend when I get to the station so that will be fun fun fun. Well the workshop should be pretty standard...they'll probably introduce features, let us play around with Photoshop, talk about color scheming and layout design allocations blah blah blah mehhhhhhhhhhhhh At least it won't be like school where they think that paint shop pro is almost and just as important as Photoshop (they're crazy, I swear). PSP pisses me off big time; I hate using it, it's unstable and they're horrible with text *huggles her Photoshop 7.0* Speaking of which, I need to reformat my computer as jamiefsac was nice enough to remind me that my whole system has been bogged down with spy ware that my spy ware detector WON'T detect. I swear these things are so useless, so once I reformat all my brushes and work will be gone. I might actually move them to my D drive and just format my C drive...but that would be pretty pointless. Meh must talk to Jamie about it when he comes back on or better yet I'll ring him later. I keep forgetting to make that LJ icon for nikitsuki ack! Lol her oxymoronic name hehe cracks me up every time. Anyway I'm about 17 minutes late to get ready and I have to wash my hair and everything. *sighs* hey Jamie have a good day with your friends and I'll speak to you when you come back or umm this evening. 8:45 pm	Nothing much Meh' Nothing much happening today. Got up, spoke to finyda, postie came and handed me a box, looked inside and it turned out it was my WWE Matt Hardy The Sensei of Mattitude t-shirt. After that, caught the bus, called Anita up. we chatted for a bit right untill I got to college. On the way there I was talking about one of my classes, Network Technology, she mistaken what I said as something else which I can't repeat here. shocking. pfffff, hmm after that, had my class, gawd!, it was sooooooooooooooooo boring!! The two hour class was over soon enough, afer that went out to get a few things from the shops, went over to a friends who showed me the demo of Soul Calibur II on his xbox, and then I caught the bus home, had to stand as it was rush hour and the single decker was packed. And that was it :) While here I just updated the site that I work at with some new art, aswell as add some PPG art. And that is it, still waiting for A to turn up online. :) I'm very tired so I'm in the mood for some easy smooth classical music. ahhhhhhhhh. 3:09 pm	A look at the stars - time for the latest version Hmm, well All alone again, after being surrounded by some great friends these last few nights, it's really quiet and lonley during the day, tiredness is creeping back up on me and I've got a smidgin of depression as Fin is not here. But gotta move on with the rest of the day and I shall. First up I've recently formatted and reinstalled XP on my server and my bro's computer, now it's my own pc's turn, so next time you will see me I should be on my server. - How exciting it is eh? Other than what I've got to do I can also say my bandanas that I ordered from the us the other week came thismorning (along with my new keyboard) three new bandanas: Black paisley/Navy Blue paisley (Fin's choice) and my glow-in-the-dark "Boo" ghost one. :) which I'm currently wearing right now. :) - Ill post a pic of me up here just now, tell me what you think of it, does it suit me or have I just waisted a heap of money? as most you know I don't have any fashion sence so I need a little clarification.. :) And I'll also leave a PPG version of me to compare, - thanks DX! ;) Well I can't think of anything else to say except cyas later. lotsa love. x x x x Current Mood: gloomy [ 6 stars | shine like a star ]
